Darn you, Google Pack!

I really am very frustrated with the Google Updater. This is the second time that updates have been messed up for me through Pack's Google Updater.

A few weeks ago, I tried to get the update for the Google Screensaver (the new one allows easy use of photo feeds and has a nicer interface; plus the old one was buggy for me). I updated it, and what did it do? It just reinstalled the crappy old one!!!!

Finally today, it notified me of an update, and I installed it; now I have the new one. Finally. Here are some screenshots for your pleasure:
